Come on out to blankspace gallery tomorrow night, March 5, 7-10 PM, for what will be their final First Friday/Oakland Art Murmur event. As announced earlier this week, the gallery will be closing its doors upon the conclusion of my show, "NOWHERE / ANYWHERE." I'm incredibly honored and humbled to be the final artist exhibiting in this space, which for four years has been a fixture of the East Bay gallery scene. Kerri and Jason have done a lot of great work as ambassadors and proponents of Oakland's diverse art community, and the consistency of their high-quality programming will undoubtedly live on in their new pursuits. I'll say it now and I'll say it again, thank you guys so much for everything you've done with this show and over the past several years, keep fighting the good fight!
