Check out West of the Wonder Wheel, a series of events taking place this week at Southern Exposure celebrating the work of artist and filmmaker, Samara Halperin. My band, Boomerang Boomerang, will be making a rare public appearance at the Carnival Reception on Friday, November 12th, at 7 PM, so that is also kind of noteworthy. I am so happy to be involved in this event in some small way, Samara is an incredible teacher and someone who has greatly influenced the way I think about art and media. She is widely loved throughout the Bay Area and this promises to be well-attended and spectacular. Bonus points if you wear red and white...
