I can't believe it has taken me this long to make mention of my favorite murals. These bold abstractions were created by S.F. artist, Mark Adams, in 2002. The MacArthur BART stop takes the cake in terms of abstract public murals in the Bay Area, and the question again arises, why are the overwhelming majority of murals of the figurative persuasion? Everyone I know loves these paintings, I think the public is much more interested in abstraction than the powers at be are willing to realize...
