This is the best. Produced by the National Gallery of Art, this video enables us to hear Guston talk about his paintings and to actually see footage of him working in the studio. "Nothing's ever solved in painting. It's a continuous chain that sometimes doesn't go in one line...[it] goes in a serpentine line or in crooked paths, detours which have to be investigated."
